Part 1 of 6

When the Path Ahead Is Not Clear

Opening reflection

Leadership often asks us to move before we feel fully ready.

There are moments when teams feel uncertain, organizations feel stretched, and leaders quietly carry questions they cannot easily answer.

Sometimes we rush toward clarity because uncertainty feels uncomfortable. But throughout Scripture, God often forms His people in the waiting before revealing the path.

The wilderness was not wasted. Neither is this season.

Scripture

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

Proverbs 3:5–6

Reflect

What would it mean to slow down enough to listen?

Prayer

Lord, You are not absent in uncertainty. Help me resist the temptation to force clarity before its time. Teach me to trust Your presence even before I understand the path. Quiet the noise within me. Help me notice what You may already be revealing. Amen.

Walking

With God this week — and, if you can, with someone.

Before your next important decision or meeting, sit quietly for five minutes. Do not plan. Do not rehearse. Simply become aware of God's presence.
